Bryan’s Track

the bike that started it all! i built this for a framebuilding course at the united bicycle institute in 2006. at the time i was riding a conversion fixed gear, which, while fun, wasn’t the quickest thing off the line. the materials for this frame are 100% made in the usa- paragon machine works dropouts, true temper tubing, and henry james lugs. i cut and filed the seat stay bullets in the style of old casati frames. all the clearances on this machine are brutally tight. no extra length for flex of any kind, the result being a very very quick machine. miraculously, the bike doesn’t beat you up too badly either, as i’ve walked away from a few fifty plus mile rides on it feeling great. the paint was done by seven cycles painter beee.
