Eric’s Track

eric was on the fence as to whether or not to buy a bob jackson, when he was referred to royal h. i told him i could do something in that style and throw in a few extra pieces of flair. he was sold, and so i used webbed lugs with fastback seat stay sockets to get the frame look he was after, and filled in a cinelli brake bridge and affixed a stainless steel H, which came out nicely. the fork crown is cast, but it has cutouts to resemble a parallel plate style crown, which looks great after chroming. the dropouts are stainless steel, and remind me of the zeus track ends of yore. all in all, a really classy bike with an excellent paint job by circle a cycles. and eric has quite the eye for parts. i’ve seen several versions of this bike built up, and they all look great.
